Its my first blog post for quite a while, after returning to work after mat leave, I have been busy to adjusting to being a busy Mum of two, (think we are getting there now!), planning new branding and a website ( all will be revealed soon!) oh and also having my beautiful new Garden cabin installed, which is now my very own work space. I’ll be sharing more about that soon on here.
For this Mondays Blog post, I wanted to share some images, I took on my holiday to Cornwall with my ickle family. Such an Uber cool place we stayed in too!
I found The Sheep Shed after spending quite a while online hunting for holiday homes to hire. We found the Property through the gorgeous Forever Cornwall – unique retreats website. We are quite particular about the style of holiday home we rent, and the properties on this website just stood out, I also loved the fact that it was a small family run business too.
There were lots of properties to choose from, and some in areas we were not familiar with, so I called and spoke to Phil, one of the owners, who guided me through properties suitable for a four and one year old. We were so excited to have booked The Sheep Shed, as it was in a lovely quiet spot, yet close enough to Our fav Spot of Watergate Bay & Mawgan Porth.
So A little about The Sheep Shed and I will then let the images do the talking for me! The Sheep Shed is a beautiful Eco Friendly Barn , near the dramatic coastline of Bedruthen Steps, an Architect designed barn Conversion, found down a quiet lane, with high ceilings, airy, yet cosy, wooden floors and deep window sills.
It was the perfect retreat to get away from it all, relax, unwind and enjoy some quality time whatever the weather and cosy sat watching the dramatic skyline out of the huge windows with a glass of Vino in hand.
Toby & Orla Loved the open plan living, the carefully thought out selection of toys, books and cosy beds too.
My favourite feature was the huge square window with a lovely big window sill, which floods lots of lovely light into the porperty and perfect to sit in with a cuppa and gaze out of the window at the garden and let the world go by! The holiday home also benefits from a heated outdoor shower, perfect for a four year old covered in sand from the beach!
So enough of my talking, i’ll let the images do the talking
oh and here are the Forever Cornwall details too:
